Why is My Order Shipped in Different Packages?

Your order might arrive in multiple shipments due to the following reasons:

  • Items are shipped from different warehouses depending on availability.
  • If an item is on backorder, we may ship the rest of your order separately to avoid delays.

We aim to deliver each item as quickly as possible.

When Will I Receive My Order?

Orders are dispatched directly from our domestic warehouses.

Print & Pack (2–3 Business Days)

We print and pack your order on demand within 2–3 business days.

In Transit (2–7 Working Days)

Delivery time depends on your location.

Total Delivery Time: 5–10 Working Days

Note:

  • Delivery time is calculated from the shipping date, not the order date.
  • Delays may occur due to invalid addresses, remote locations, weather conditions, or strikes.
  • Please raise a ticket within 6 months of shipping if the package hasn’t arrived. Our support team responds within 24 hours. Late claims may not be accepted.
What If I Entered the Wrong Address?
  • If the courier needs to correct the address after shipping, a fee of ₹140 + GST will apply.
  • If the order is returned due to an invalid or incomplete address, you will need to pay the full reshipping cost to receive it again.
What If My Order Gets Lost or Stuck in Transit?

If your order is lost or stuck in transit, we’ll do our best to resolve it:

  • We may resend the package with quicker shipping and tracking, or
  • Issue a full refund (at The Mortal Soul's discretion).

What If My Order Is Marked 'Delivered' But I Didn’t Receive It?
  • We’ll request Proof of Delivery from the courier.
  • If they cannot provide it, we will either:

    Resend your order, or
    Refund the full amount

Resolution is subject to The Mortal Soul’s discretion.

Cleaning
  • Clean the desk mat with warm water and mild soap — it will continue to look brand new for years to come.
  • Gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth or sponge; avoid scrubbing aggressively to protect the print.
  • Do not use bleach, harsh detergents, or chemical cleaners as they can damage the lycra surface and fade the print.
  • After cleaning, lay it flat and allow it to air dry completely before use — do not wring or tumble dry.
Washing
  • Hand wash only in lukewarm water.
  • Do not machine wash or put in the dryer, as heat and agitation can warp the rubber base and loosen the printed layer.
  • Do not iron the surface.
Storage
  • Store the mat rolled up (not folded) to prevent crease marks on the rubber base.
  • Keep away from direct sunlight when not in use to preserve print vibrancy over time.
Things to Avoid
  • Avoid placing sharp objects or cutting directly on the mat.
  • Do not expose to prolonged moisture or leave wet — this can degrade the rubber base.
  • The mat uses advanced printing technology to ensure colors stay bold and vibrant — avoid abrasive contact that could scratch the print.

CANCELLATIONS & REPLACEMENTS

At The Mortal Soul, we strive to offer a smooth, fair, and satisfying shopping experience. Please read our policy carefully to understand the terms under which replacements, cancellations, and refunds are handled.

Replacements

We follow a Replacement-First Policy. This means:

  • If your item is eligible for replacement, we will first send a free replacement.
  • If the replacement item is also damaged or defective, you may choose between a second replacement or a full refund (for prepaid orders only).

Replacements are offered under the following conditions only:

  • Product received is damaged or defective
  • Product is lost in transit
  • You received the wrong item

To be eligible for a replacement:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of the order being marked as delivered.
  • Share an unboxing video clearly showing the unopened parcel with outer packaging intact.

⚠️ Replacements will not be processed without the opening video. This helps us verify claims and ensures fair resolution.

Important Notes on Replacements

  • Color Variations: Slight differences in product or print color due to screen settings do not qualify for return or replacement.
  • Customer Error: Products disliked or ordered incorrectly are not eligible for return or replacement.
  • Inspection Process: In case of disputes, items may need to be returned. A decision will be made post-inspection.
  • Custom Products: Non-returnable/non-replaceable unless defective. Print quality depends on uploaded image resolution.
  • COD Orders: Not eligible for refunds. Verified manufacturing defects qualify for free replacement.

Returns & Size Exchanges Not Available

We do not accept returns or size exchanges under any circumstances, because:

  • Products are often fragile and can be damaged during return transit.
  • Most items are made-to-order and created specifically for you.

Please ensure all details, including sizes and customizations, are reviewed carefully before placing your order.

Refunds

Refunds are applicable only to prepaid orders and only after a replacement attempt, if the replacement item is also found to be damaged or defective.

If eligible, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7 business days.

Note: Items on sale or promotion are not refundable.

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

Cancellations

  • Free cancellation upto 2 hours of order placing.
  • Orders cancelled after processing/shipping will incur a 35% cancellation fee.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled once they’ve been processed or shipped.

Shipping & Delivery Terms

  • For incorrect/incomplete addresses, a correction fee of ₹150 + GST applies after dispatch.
  • If returned due to address issues or delivery refusal, full forward shipping charges apply for redelivery.
  • Refusing delivery or rescheduling more than twice will result in the order being returned. Forward shipping fees will be charged for reshipment.

Special Offer Items

Items purchased during sales or promotions are not eligible for return or replacement.

OTP-Based Delivery

We use an OTP-based delivery system. If the OTP is shared before receiving the parcel, we cannot offer any refund or replacement. In such cases, customers must raise a complaint with the courier company and their local authorities.

Partial COD Payments

Any advance paid for Partial COD is non-refundable as it covers courier handling and logistics costs.
